So when I first learned to use GIMP, I maybe went a little nutso with the photo-editing. I've tapered down a lot, but now I'm wondering if it is needed at all?

Here's part of Miss Emmy's funeral I never worked into the story. I had the family light up some sparklers to celebrate their remembrance of her life...something I thought she would like at her final send-off. I especially liked that Maria would have nothing to do with it. So very Maria.

Today, though, I got a new one. Apparently, someone searched "hot women around eighteen and 21 email" and it took them to Chapter Eighteen of my story. Too funny. I'm guessing it is not what they were looking for! Although, they might as well, because they're living in a fantasy world if they think you can google up the email addy's of random hotness. :P

Ah, the Travellers. I'd ignored them for a long time, letting them sit in Family Bin Purgatory,
simply because they looked so dang doofus-y in those silly Maxian outfits.

The Maxis Makeover thread at GOS inspired me to move those Travellers out of purgatory

and into a cottage, which I put right on the outskirts of Strangetown, just under the water tower.

Oh my goddess, it's done. It's done! I've been working on this for days and days, and it was just starting to seem like I would never finish. This is an all new chapter - not just a re-do of the old ones. I hope you all enjoy it - this is my first Photobucket Scrapblog. And my last, for a while anyway. I have a renewed appreciation for all the work Deb must do on her Katie Legacy blogs, which provided the inspiration for this chapter. I'm so grateful, because I'd been trying to find a way to create the "journal" feel to the DiPotere past without creating a whole new blog. So, thank you Deb!
